PHOTO ARTIST
Hey, I am Liz! Born in Luxembourg in 1993, I have a Master's degree in the study of religion and am a self-taught photo artist.
I photograph what inspires me. I don't have a specific theme, I rarely work with concepts, I just let myself go. Intuition and spontaneity are the main characteristics of my work. I refuse to intellectualise my art. I don't want to put too many words around it. It feels artificial and imposed. Empty words trying to describe something that doesn't really need a long description.
I like my photographs to speak for themselves. They are usually in dialogue with each other, telling a story, reflecting moods, inspiring subjective interpretations. If they don't do that for you, that's fine. Words won't change that. I don't want to persuade you to let my photos speak to you, to touch you.
Once at an exhibition, a stranger gave me feedback that I really liked and that I have carried with me ever since: "The thing that connects all your pictures, the thing they have in common, is intimacy."
I think it's true. I feel these words.
